Description

The Brother Bicker Band (brotherbickerband | Instagram, Facebook | Linktree) is hosting the second annual, Rocky Mountain Christmas for Childhood Cancer Research, joined by their great friends:

Inspired by its 2024 release, Rocky Mountain Christmas (Spotify, Apple) available on all digital platforms, this event has become a labour of love for the band, having helped its partners, Colton & Co. and Alberta Cancer Foundation, raise over $300 K last year!  This song is about the universal themes of love and loss, and how Christmas forces us to confront those feelings.  The song was written after the passing of a lifelong friend from cancer and the explores the impact of that loss on the ones who love him. The song features REVV52, a Calgary-based performance ensemble that entertains, inspires and energizes its audiences with original productions of the most important and beloved songs in popular music.

We invite you to this concert and fundraiser on November 29, 2025.  Doors open at 6:30 pm and music goes from 7 - 10 pm.

To celebrate the life of a friend and to do some good, the Brother Bicker Band has partnered with Colton & Co. (Colton + Co. (coltonandco.com)) and Tour Alberta for Cancer (Home - Tour Alberta for Cancer) to raise money for pediatric cancer research and support.  There will be a Silent Auction and other fundraising at the event.  You can also make a Charitable Donation to the Alberta Cancer foundation below and direct the fund to Tour Team - Colton's Crusaders in the notes.  Join us for a night of celebration and support for those battling, overcoming and eradicating this horrible disease.

About the Brother Bicker Band

The Brother Bicker Band is country, Canadian style, and the group of roots rockers are bringing more of their signature sound with the release of their new single, 'The Good Road', and latest album, 'Another Kind of Train', both out now. The band's self-described sound of 'Maple Whiskey Rock n Roll' is packed into the storytelling chorus' and sliding notes of of their music.

Based in Calgary, AB, The Brother Bicker Band has a rich and full sound, put together by seven friends; Jeremy Hrdlicka on acoustic guitar and vocals, Tom Mogan on guitar and vocals, Jennele Coulson and Claire Wilkes on vocals, Ben Ellard on keys, and completing the lineup are Taylor Miles on drums and Jim Duncan on bass that earned them YYC Music Award nominations and Country Music Alberta Second Ballot Nominations for the last three years.

The Brother Bicker Band have told stories and brought people together, in ways that only music can, and 'The Good Road' is a revealing and bright indication of just how far these friends have gone and how many trips they still plan on taking. Gravel roads, dirt roads, ring roads, whatever path that lies ahead, the Brother Bicker Band will be taking 'The Good Road' with their families, friends and fans.

About Colton+Co.

Colton+Co. was inspired by a young boy, Colton, who was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 2. Through his 2000 days of treatment, his family created Colton+Co. as a way to give back to the community and thank those who supported them. To date, Colton+Co. has contributed to rebuilding a community playground, donated toys and Colton+Co. toques to the hospital and raised money for Kids Cancer Care, the Alberta Children’s Hospital and the Alberta Cancer Foundation.

As the ONLY cycling team on the Tour Alberta for Cancer where funds are dedicated to pediatrics, Colton+Co is focused on filling needs where they matter the most: the kids. We are reaching out to request your support for our upcoming fundraising efforts. In 2024-2025, Colton & Co. raised over $300 K for local organizations. Your support will help us achieve our fundraising goal of a total of $1 M within the next year.
