Rock for Cancer Festival: Live at Malaspina Theatre!

Join us both virtually and In person at the first ever Rock for Cancer Festival, an original rock festival live in Malaspina Theatre, supporting Canadian Cancer Society and their dedication to cancer research.

The festival this year features original music from Danger Box, Sturdy Lemon, and Insulam.

Event starts 7:00pm PST at Malaspina Theatre located on the Nanaimo Vancouver Island University campus in person, and online on twitch.

A quote from Producer Christopher Carter: "This means so much to me after losing my father to stage 4 sarcoma in May of last year. I hope this can create so much hope for others who are fighting cancer out there. I'm very honored to be working with Malaspina Theatre and all of the bands listed on the bill."

Tickets for the show are $10, with limited tickets available at the door, but will be free for those who would like to join online.

 Terms and conditions

1. Tickets are non-refundable. If by any means there are inquiries about your arrival, please contact event organizer at cjcarter007@hotmail.com for further assistance.
2. No outside food, drinks, or alcohol permitted. Bottled water is okay.
3. No animals of any kind are permitted except licensed Therapy or Seeing Eye.
4. Tickets do not include parking. Parking is available on lots D through B at Vancouver Island University.
5. Professional Photography, Audio, or Video Recording is strictly prohibited, without express written permission from ROCK FOR CANCER FESTIVAL.
6. Should a situation arise, and a band or any bands member/members, or if any performer cannot make it to ROCK FOR CANCER FESTIVAL 2024, you agree to not hold ROCK FOR CANCER FESTIVAL, or any of its affiliates, band members, performers, and partners responsible in anyway.
7. No food or beverages will be served at the event.
8. This is an all ages show. Please be respectful to this every guest, ticket holder, or band. Any form of harassment towards an individual will be kicked out of the event with no excuse.
