Robert Priest ("The Poet of The People") releases a spoken word album, and celebrates its launch with a special concert at Hugh's Room Live. He will perform songs from the new recording and also sing songs with his trio, including guitarists Bob Cohen and David Hines and also joining Robert will be special guest musicians Alison Young on saxophone and guitarist Kevin Breit. He will also have books available at the show.

Opening the festivities: a set from none other than Taylor Abrahamse, the gifted young singer/songwriter who has long been championed Hugh's Room. His poignant and playful lyrics are sure to impress fans of Robert Priest. The event is hosted by JAZZ.FM91's Jaymz Bee, who is also the producer of the new album from Robert Priest.
