Robbie Burns Night 2023

Known in medieval Celtic culture as a story teller, verse maker, and composer, the word ‘Bard’ has become synonymous with the world’s greatest poets. However, few are as celebrated as Scotland’s own National Bard, Robert Burns, who we pay tribute to in January each year.

Join us at the Penticton Lakeside Resort on Saturday, January 21, 2023 for an evening of poetry, music, dancing, and cheer!

When: Saturday, January 21, 2023

Where: Penticton Lakeside Resort (21 Lakeshore Drive W, Penticton, BC)

Admission: Adults (12+) $70 / Children (4-11) $25 / Table of Ten $700. Children younger than 4 years old have free admission.

Dinner Menu: Traditional roast beef dinner (vegetarian option available)
- Haggis
- Mixed green salad with two dressings
- Seasonal roasted vegetables
- Mashed potatoes
- Mashed turnips
- Baron of beef with horseradish on the side
- Whiskey sauce
- Assorted dessert squares
- Coffee and tea

Timeline: Doors open at 4:30 pm, Entertainment starts at 5:30 pm, Dinner starts around 6:00 pm

* Seating will be assigned based on tickets purchased. If you book many tickets in one transaction, we will seat you all together. 

Entertainment: Vale United Pipe Band, Emily McDonald School of Highland Dance, Castilla Irish Dancers, Naramata Scottish Country Dancers 

Silent auction, door prizes, and 50/50 draws will happen throughout the evening.
