When we came of age as 2SLGBTQIA+ storytellers, we realized something was missing. In 1997, Rico Rodriguez founded Queers In Your Ears, a storytelling collective dedicated to telling stories about being queer—stories that had long gone unheard. QIYE focuses on original material, embracing a vibrant range of queer voices and perspectives—from personal histories to reimagined fairy tales—pushing boundaries and bringing bold new dimensions to the art of storytelling.
