Description
Each of the three countries that occupy the place we call North America are uniquely different cultures with their own individual literatures. Join Merilyn Simonds as she explores how three classic novels from each country reflect these distinctions. In particular, she will discuss: Pedro Paramo by Juan Rulfo (Mexico), The Adventures of Augie March by Saul Bellow (USA) and The Last of the Curlews by Fred Bodsworth (Canada)—all still in print 70 years or more after their publication.
