A symbol of tradition, honour, and pride, the Musical Ride is a Canadian icon recognized at home and abroad. The troop of riders, who are all police officers, and their horses perform intricate formations and drills set to music, lasting about 30 minutes. These movements demand the utmost control, timing, and coordination. There will be a chance to meet briefly with the officers and their horses after the show.

This fun and entertaining evening includes a mounted archery demonstration. You might even see a few barrel racing dogs! Food trucks will be on site from 4 pm in case you get hungry or need a snack.

The Nicola Valley Rodeo Association is a not for profit organization that owns and operates the Nicola Valley Rodeo Grounds in Merritt, BC, a community facility for a variety of events.  The venue features modern washrooms and covered grandstands. Ticket sales from this event will help to improve and maintain our grounds.
