Raincity is Vancouver-based Funk band making waves with their unique sound. Fronted by female leads on saxophone and vocals, their audacious performances are loaded with engaging interplay and explosive energy. The five members of Raincity combine their wide range of eclectic influences including Amy Winehouse, Moon Hooch, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, creating a distinctive sound with infectious grooves, chameleon tones, and no regard for boundaries.

Vin Goodwin is a piano based singer songwriter who writes and records songs about real things, people he knows or has met... snapshots of his own life and stuff that’s happening in the world. 

Vin released his first single “Falling Man” in 2011 and first EP “Swim the Wild Water” in 2012 both produced by the brilliant Cam Blackwood (George Ezra, London Grammar).

May 2015 saw the release of his second EP “The Hunted”, produced by UK Number 1 selling singer songwriter Jamie Lawson (signed to Ed Sheeran’s label). Song writing collaborations with I.AM.WILLOW and Jamie Lawson plus the incredible musicianship of Jimmy Sims (Mika/Amy MacDonald/Dido), Matthew Racher (Gavin James, George Ezra, Kylie) and James Welch plus backing vocals provided by the legendary singer songwriter Judie Tzuke, this EP was a collaborative dream come true. 

THE HOSPITAL CLUB, THE BEDFORD, THE TROUBADOUR, REGAL ROOM, ST JAMES’ THEATRE and the cavernously beautiful NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM in London are just a few of the venues Vin has played, with a couple of appearances at UK festivals like VANNFEST, SOUNDLOUNGE FESTIVAL and MARYLEBONE SUMMER FAYRE. 

When Vin isn’t writing and performing, he promotes and hosts his own popular live music nights with a monthly residency at London private members club hClub, London (founded by Dave Stewart). For the last 5 years he has run three shows there – Vin’s Night In, Vin’s Veg Out and HYPE, all of which are still going strong. He occasionally MCs weddings, gigs, festival stages, parties and events, even hosting a pub quiz now and again! 

Most of his time is currently taken up writing a brand new musical play (www.asmalllifemusical.com) for which he has written the music, lyrics and story. Currently in development, he hopes to get the show onto a London stage in the next year or two.
