Description

Our experiences as queer people are as varied and unique as each of us are. Moving through this world as a light-skinned Latinx queer person is much different than doing so as a Black pansexual fem, for example. It is important for our collective liberation to openly address these different experiences, so that we become a collective that is rooted in our histories and material experiences and committed to dismantling the systems that perpetuate the discriminations we face.

We invite you to join us for a conversation about racism within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community led by community builder, mom, advocate, and disruptor Taylor McNallie. Kara Bullock, a body-based storyteller, writer, anti-racism & abolition focused artist, will be joining us as well to guide us through this conversation and a Q&A period. Everyone is welcome! Come prepared to participate in an accountable and mindful manner.

Doors open: 6:00 pm
Lecture start: 6:30 pm
End time: Around 9:00 pm
