Queer History

This workshop lays the foundation for any performer looking to understand the roots of the art they carry forward. We trace the through line from underground queer resistance to today's stages, weaving Calgary's local drag history into the broader movements that shaped queer culture, honouring the pioneers, ballrooms, and bars that built the scene before it was safe to do so.

Registration: A $5 deposit is required to secure your spot and will be fully refunded upon attendance. This session is strictly capped at 25 participants to ensure personalized instruction.
