Description

Pride Poetry and Prose

Poetry and prose have always been a vehicle for self-expression. Writing speaks to the heart of human experience, connecting readers, writers, and listeners across continents and across centuries. Join us in an exploration of poetry and prose, featuring pieces written by MacEwan students. Want to share your own writing? Bring your piece and sign up for our open mic period.

If you are interested in reading a piece of your own writing, please sign-up here: https://forms.gle/1rGzCFuh1h1s6eUe9 (limited to MacEwan students).

All are welcome to attend.

Date: Thursday, March 13, 2025
Time: 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
Location: Towers Pub | MacEwan University

Brought to you by the MacEwan Centre for Sexual & Gender Diversity and the Department of English.

This event is part of Pride Week 2025, where MacEwan University recognizes and celebrates the diversity of our 2SLGBTQ+ students, faculty, staff, and allies.

MacEwan’s Pride Week 2025 is brought to you by the YEG Campus Pride Network (MacEwan University, University of Alberta, Concordia University of Edmonton, NAIT, NorQuest College, and The King's University).
