Info from Our Captain:

We will meet at the ticket office near the boat dock. Plan to arrive 20 minutes prior to departure. Check-in at the ticket office to pick up your BOARDING PASS for all passengers. Boarding will begin 10 minutes before departure time. Please wait in the grassy area of the park for the Captain to begin boarding. Do not block the sidewalk in the park while waiting as it causes a hazard to walkers and bikers on the park path. *We are not handicap accessible - no wheelchair ramp is available at this time.

What to Wear

• We recommend dressing for the day's weather since we are an open-deck, canopy-covered boat and there is no interior seating. (i.e., hat, sunglasses, sunscreen on warmer days and a light-jacket/layers, hat, and scarf on cooler days)
• Shoes or sandals are required

What to Bring/What Not to Bring

• No outside alcohol 
• Beverages are available for purchase onboard but keep in mind there is a $10 minimum on credit card purchases so bringing cash is encouraged
• A camera & binoculars are highly recommended!

Other Tips & Guidelines

• Please arrive 20 minutes early so you have time to park and get checked in.
• You may NOT bring your own alcoholic beverages aboard the EveningStar. > - If you wish to purchase alcoholic beverages onboard, please bring a valid 21+ ID

PARKING: NOTE: PARKING IS FREE ON WEEKENDS - There are some parking spots in front of our ticket office or you can use the numbered/metered spots. There are also several spots at the end of our road in the circle outside the yacht club boatyard. There is a large free parking lot by the playground & big gazebo, just a 5-10 minute walk along the park trail to our dock. (There is a large full-service restroom by the playground and big gazebo.) Parking is free on evenings after 6pm and weekends throughout the park.

Important: Any directions or maps provided by EveningStar are only a rough guide. You are responsible for arriving at the activity's meeting location on time, so make sure to check with a second source that can provide specific directions from your starting point.

Our cruises leave from Riverfront Green Park (GPS location: 12 Riverfront Green, Peekskill, NY 10566). NEW DOCK: Cross over the railroad tracks and turn LEFT to follow the road past the train station. We are just before the boatyard of the Peekskill Yacht Club.

• Take 97th St Transverse and W 97th St to NY-9A N
• Head west on 97th St Transverse
• Continue straight onto W 97th St
• Turn left onto West End Ave
• Turn right at the 1st cross street onto W 96th St
• Continue on NY-9A N. Take Saw Mill River Parkway N to NY-100 N/NY-9A N in Mount Pleasant. Take the New York 9A N/NY-100 N exit from Taconic State Parkway
• Merge onto NY-9A N

• Continue onto Henry Hudson Pkwy

• Get on I-84 in West Hartford from Capitol Ave, Boulevard and S Main St
• Head south on Hungerford St toward Capitol Ave
• Turn right at the 1st cross street onto Capitol Ave
• Slight right onto Boulevard
• Turn left onto S Main St
• Turn right onto the I-84 W ramp to Waterbury
• Continue on I-84 to Bedford. Take exit 6 from I-684 S
• Merge onto I-84
• Continue onto US-202 W/US-6 W/US-7 S

• Take exit 20 for I-684 toward NY-22/White Plains/Pawling
• Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Interstate 684/White Plains/New York City and merge onto I-684 S

Public Transit: Metro North: Take the Hudson Line to the Peekskill Station. Riverfront Green Park is within view of the Peekskill train station. Cross over the tracks to the water side of the tracks, turn LEFT when facing the water and follow the walking path in the park along the waterfront to our ticket office, just before the boatyard of the Peekskill Yacht Club. Ticket office has a blue roof. Check in there first.
