Proper Productions presents PRESSURE ONE: Cory Simpson 

The crew that brought Vancouver debuts of Sterac, Chris Liebing, Perc, Rebekah, Ben Sims, Mark Broom, and Claude Young among others is proud to present a new stripped-down series of events focusing on local and regional talent: PRESSURE. PRESSURE One kicks off the series on October 29th with the return of Seattle giant Cory Simpson of Depth and Peer.

Cory Simpson has established himself as a force to be reckoned with from his home base in Seattle. Founder and main driver of Seattle's top tier techno crew, DEPTH, Cory's profile has been on the upswing as his reputation continues to grow delivering sets that are by turns abstract, oblique, and propulsive. The buzz coming off his set at Midwest taste-maker festival The Great Beyond shows an artist on the verge of liftoff. Cory recently launched the label Peer with Bay Area techno maestro Max Gardner, where their shared meticulous vision has already started turning heads and gaining support from important artists and DJs.

The last time Proper hosted Cory, he was setting the stage for Rebekah. We couldn't be happier to have him coming back to Vancouver to drop his signature, uncompromising take on techno for us again.
