YYC - Calgary's Tribute to the Music of Rush, pay tribute to the music of what is arguably Canada's greatest musical export - RUSH. 

The band's name is a cheeky nod to the rush instrumental "YYZ", while also tipping the hat to YYC's Calgary roots. 

Five of Calgary's best musicians put on full display their collective drive and desire to recreate the RUSH's signature sound as painstakingly and faithfully as possible. 

The band saw its beginnings in late 2019, first by publishing YouTube videos in lieu of live performances that were not possible during the pandemic, and since, by delivering sold out shows at Alberta venues and music festivals. 

These two bands combined in one evening make for an epic rock show!!
