PRAIRIE Cookbook Launch Dinner (Calgary)

Join writer and newly-minted author Dan Clapson on Thursday, Aug. 31 in Calgary at Carter Cadillac's upper level event space as he celebrates the release of his cookbook PRAIRIE with a special dinner event.

The exciting cookbook celebrates Prairie ingredients, seasonality, all the while presenting the idea of "Prairie cooking" in contemporary and creative ways.

EVENT DETAILS

The event will start at 6:30PM with a cocktail hour featuring a welcome cocktail and Prairie-inspired canapes for attendees as well as live acoustic music.

At 7:30PM, the author along with guest chef Tracy Little (Sauvage, Canmore) will serve a collaborative 4-course dinner celebrating all things seasonal and Prairie.

Throughout the dinner, Clapson will discuss his approach to creating recipes for the book, how it came to life and then take time to sign cookbook copies and chat with attendees.

Select cocktails featured in the PRAIRIE cookbook will be available for a la carte ordering in addition to craft beer and wine and non-alcoholic drink options from the bar.
