Pollinator Playground

Join your friends at FOLDA in our Pollinator Playground, an interactive, family-friendly digital experience in a custom-built space on Gather. Learn the basics of how to use Gather, a playful digital platform, while running around and exploring the Hide and Seek Forest, Monarch Maze, Pollinator Gardens, and Playground. Learn about the importance of butterflies and bees in our environment, and how to create your own pollinator patch. Share laugh-out-loud bee and butterfly jokes, play hide and seek, and explore the maze. 

This space was made as part of FOLDA’s StartUp in partnership with Theatre Direct’s Pollinator Portal Pop Up! Event.

Gather is a web-browser based virtual platform that combines video-calling with a 2D map that you explore as an Avatar - a figure that represents you - allowing you to move fluidly, with space to start conversations with those around you. 

Pollinator Playground is a private space built only for ticket holders to this event and no other people will be able to join the Gather.  

FOLDA Staff Members will be on hand to provide you with technical support.

Accessing Gather

Gather can only be used on a computer (laptop or desktop) using a Google Chrome or Firefox browser. Please note that Gather is not supported in mobile (phone/tablet). We recommend wearing headphones while using the platform.  If you have trouble connecting your camera or microphone in Gather, please visit this troubleshooting guide.
