Polar Bear and Penguin tells the tale of an improbable encounter between the two animals. The polar bear and penguin, very different characters, learn about each other and survive in a world melting away from them.

This contemporary fable is one full of humour, friendship, and (most importantly!) lots of fish.

Polar Bear and Penguin is a charming play written and performed by John Currivan & Paul Curley for young audiences.

The tale of an unlikely encounter between a Polar Bear and a Penguin. This is the story of polar opposite characters meeting for the first time, getting to know one another and learning how to survive in a world melting beneath their feet…paws…flippers.

Paul Curley (THE DIG and Bake!) and John Currivan (The Bockety World of Henry & Bucket), bring this quirky and relevant play for young audiences to life. Award-winning director Ian Cameron (White) joins the team along with designers Ger Clancy and Sarah Jane Shiels and composer Denis Clohessy.

Polar Bear and Penguin is a tale of our time, infused with humour, friendship and fish.

*Infants 9 months and younger are admitted for free but must sit on a guardian's lap.

L’attachante pièce Polar Bear and Penguin s’adresse aux plus jeunes. Elle a été écrite par John Currivan et Paul Curley, qui en sont les comédiens.

Cette histoire raconte la rencontre improbable entre un ours blanc et un pingouin. Malgré leur caractère aux antipodes, les deux animaux apprennent à se connaître et à survivre dans un monde qui fond littéralement sous leurs pieds, leurs pattes et leurs nageoires.

Paul Curley et John Currivan donnent vie à cette pièce excentrique et pertinente destinée au jeune public. Le producteur primé Ian Cameron, les concepteurs Ger Clancy et Sarah Jane Shiels ainsi que le compositeur Denis Clohessy complètent l’équipe.
