Derek Plaslaiko is a highly respected DJ/Producer hailing from Detroit, where he became a regular on the rave circuit and gained supporters such as Carl Craig to playing alongside John Acquaviva and Ricardo Villalobos. After that he moved on to NYC where he became a resident of one of the city's best: The Bunker (party / label / agency), also home to artists such as Carlos Souffront, Mike Servito, Erika, Rrose, Eris Drew, Octo Octa, Wata Igarashi and many more.

Derek has a record breaking 12 hour Boiler Room set and is known for marathon excursions into his deep and wide music collection. He has played at many of the best clubs and festivals in the world, like Tresor, Berghain and Movement just to name a few. After a home base in Berlin his fanfare continues to grow, his music also landing on Interdimensional Transmissions, Perc Trax, Minus and Spectral Sound labels.
