Il Caminetto: Planeta Etna Wines

Established in 1995, Planeta is a family owned and run Sicilian wine producer built on a long agricultural tradition handed down since 1500 through 17 generations in the Menfi area of Siicily.

Today Planeta represents not just one, but six wine producing estates, each one representing the diverse terroirs of Sicily, which we will guide diners through paired with chef’s menu . . .

There will be a focus on the exciting wines of the Mount Etna regions, as well as some of the French Varietals from the original Ulmo winery in Menfi which established Planeta’s world class reputation.

Chef James Walt’s menu will incorporate elements from this region to best present these diverse terroirs.

Event will start at 5:30 in the lounge with canapes and then will move to wine room for a multi-course paired menu.
