Pizza & Pints - Afternoon Tour

Guests meet at 1:45 PM at our first location, at Beer Revolution (834 11 Ave SW)!  

This experience will begin at Beer Revolution, an innovative and unpretentious leader in Calgary’s pizza and beer scene. Guests will experience a walk-through time detailing the evolution of the Beer Revolution, guided by their sister company,  Brewsters Brewing Company. You will enjoy samples of Brewsters craft beer will be provided with their signature pizza, Sayulita Surfer – a thin crust entry featuring Red ale enchilada sauce, chorizo, caramelized onions, banana peppers, roasted poblano’s, tex mex cheese, avocado lime crema, romaine, and topped with tortillas.

Our Pizza & Pints group will continue to Cravings Market Restaurant, home of fresh market food worth craving, including their signature pizza, Cravings Bianca.  This thick crust entry offers house made béchamel sauce, bacon, spinach, basil, and the traditional mozzarella we all crave. We’ll all be craving a delicious pint of Big Rock as we savour this delicious entry!

Next the tour will visit Midtown Kitchen & Bar, purveyor of great local and organic foods who boasts an extensive craft beer list. Guests will enjoy the delicious Smoked Bovine pizza, featuring smoked Alberta brisket, apple BBQ sauce, picked red onion, mozzarella, horseradish aioli, mustard, and micro greens. This lucky group can also experience the new collaborative beer created with Banded Peak Brewing Company, Vienna Steam Punk! Be one of the first to enjoy this new local addition – possibly a new favourite.   

Next the line-up, we will visit Full Circle Pizza and Oyster Bar, for a pint of Cold Garden’s East Calgary Lager to wash down their delectable Fritto Misto Pizza. This seafood inspired pizza begins with a tarragon panna base, with peperonata and potatoes. Once it comes out of the oven it is topped with beer battered oysters, white anchovy, cod, calamari and tartare sauce.  

At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to the Beer Revolution where you will enjoy a final pint with companions from Pizza & Pints. From here, you are welcome to continue your night at Beer Revolution or make your way home.
