Meet your storytellers:

Rebecca Finley-Schidlowsky Co-Founder @ Finley & Associates

Rebecca specializes in strategic planning, governance, stakeholder engagement and leadership development. She has a fresh and energetic facilitation style that focuses on co-creating strategy through high engagement and capacity building.

Rebecca has worked with dozens of Boards and senior leadership teams in the private, family enterprise, public and not-for-profit sectors across Canada. Her sector experience is broad and includes oil & gas, agri-business, real estate & development, professional associations, performing arts, post-secondary and social services… to name a few!

Rebecca’s hands-on governance experience includes serving on the Board of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra as the Board’s Secretary, as well as in the role of Board Chair for Next Gen Men (NGM).

In 2024, Rebecca completed the Institute of Corporate Directors & Rotman School of Management’s – Directors Education Program, attaining the prestigious ICD.D designation.

An accomplished speaker, Rebecca was a guest lecturer at the Drucker School of Management (Claremont, California) and regularly lectures at the Haskayne School of Business (Calgary, Alberta) for Executive MBAs. Rebecca lectures on Governance, and her workshops have welcomed participants from across Canada, Spain, and New Zealand. In addition to lecturing, Rebecca has emceed several High Net Worth & Family Office Conferences (Vancouver and Calgary) and led several engaging panels featuring the voices of the Next Generation.

Outside of work, Rebecca loves House Music, credit card point hacking, and traveling the world.  

Drake Hankinson CEO @ Sunsab

Drake Hankinson is the Co-Founder of Sunsab and an experience operations professional having had a career working with some of Canadas leading technology brands. First beginning his professional journey at the age of 13 working in the food services industry, his career has spanned many different industries ranging from civil engineering, construction and landscaping, to most recently SaaS and technology consulting. Through working in diverse fields and roles, he has always focused on first principals in every environment, and considers himself people-focused generalist who approaches issues with a eye on scalable solutions and pragmatic approaches to problems, no matter how big or small.
