Description

About this event

Each year we engage in some “friendly” hockey competition with the Faculty of Dentistry— all for a good cause.

In the past, we have partnered with the Movember Foundation and Diabetes Canada to raise money for these initiatives. This year, we are supporting a local not-for-profit here in Edmonton, the Bissell Centre. Everyone is welcome to begin the night with a half-hour free skate starting at 5:00pm for alumni and their families, which will be followed by an exciting hockey game between the two faculties.

We hope to see you cheer on your team on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm!

Join us at the afterparty at The Pint on Whyte starting at 9:00 pm — tickets with a prepaid 1oz. high-ball are included with your ticket purchase (while supplies last). Pick-up will be available at the arena prior to the game.

Ticket prices are as follows:

APSA members*: Thanks to the generous donation from our sponsor, Shoppers Drug Mart, all APSA member tickets will be free of charge. Use code APSAHOCKEY2024 at checkout.

Non-APSA members: $20

*Must enter your @ualberta email; if a non-member buys these tickets, their ticket will be redacted and refunded subject to processing fees.

Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.

Special thanks to our event organizers: Sean Mears, Jin He, Prerna Sharma, Dental Students’ Association, Kevin Ta, and Goodwin Chau.
