Have you ever wondered what farm life was like 100 years ago? Visit the Burnside Ranch House to learn about the animals and the grain harvest on a mixed prairie farm. Find out how farm kids spent their time, play some games and have some “old-fashioned” fun!

In the early 1900s, towns started to spring up across the prairies. Many different kinds of jobs existed back then as things were done differently than they are today. The mail service was vitally important, and campers will have the chance to create a postcard to mail home!

Before Google maps, people had to rely on traditional navigation techniques such as land features, maps, and the stars to find their way around and discover some handy tips to make the most of your outdoor experience.
