Pianist Patrick Coyston is a new up and coming member of Winnipeg’s jazz scene. Heavily inspired by the works of Billy Strayhorn, Fats Waller, and Art Tatum, he has created a quintet with Tenor Saxophonist John Greene, Drummer Zachary Hamilton, Bassist Liam Allan, and Guitarist Brian Kee in hopes to inspire the masses, and bring some “Swing” back into Winnipeg.
