Tammy Weis returns home to Sherwood Park for a special homecoming performance at the Festival Place Jazz Series. Raised in Sherwood Park, Tammy brings her journey full circle, sharing storytelling drawn from her years living in Portugal and the United Kingdom. The performance blends her favorite jazz influences with original compositions inspired by themes of home, memory, and belonging—offering an intimate evening of music and narrative shaped by a life lived across cultures.

Riwo Egor is an Nigerian-born singer-songwriter, vocal composer and arranger based in Edmonton. Egor believes in the power of music to heal wounds and cause unity in the diversity of today’s world.
Egor’s music spans a variety of genres, though she describes her sound in one word: fusion. Egor is especially drawn to writing and performing Afro-jazz, neo-soul and R&B, blending styles to create a sound that is both distinctive and expressive. For listeners who enjoy fusion-style or alternative music, Egor’s work offers a refreshing and engaging experience.
