Parton Me! A Dolly Tribute with Katie Deal

Join us for an evening of food, fun, and the music of everyone’s favorite country star, Dolly Parton, as performed by Northeast Georgia’s own singing sensation, Katie Deal and her Nashville Band. 

All remaining seats are $25. Proceeds go toward the Friends of the Arts fund, which helps provide Piedmont's Fine Arts students with a robust academic experience.

Due to the rainy forecast, the concert has moved indoors to the Swanson Center Mainstage Theatre. See below for more details.

Event Schedule

4 PM - Doors open so you can claim your seat in the Mainstage Theatre, grab food and drink from our amazing food vendors, and join your friends and neighbors in the Swanson lobby while you eat dinner.

• Fenders - Beer, Jack Daniels Cocktail, Chicken Sandwiches, Burgers & Chicken Tenders
• Cafe Cubano Food Truck - Latin Food
• Frescos Food Truck - Mexican Food
• Pinky's Shaved Ice - 44 Flavors of Shaved Ice 

To honor Dolly Parton's focus on early literacy, former Governor Nathan Deal will also be signing his children's book, "Veto, The Governor's Cat."

5 PM - Katie Deal and her Nashville Band take the stage playing Dolly Parton’s favorite hit songs, including Jolene, Coat of Many Colors, 9 To 5, and many more. 

Things to Keep In Mind

• Parking is available at the Swanson Center, the Amphitheater, and near the Arrendale Library and Sewell Center. (See map at this link: https://www.piedmont.edu/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Campus-Map-2023.pdf.)
  • Sponsor and handicapped parking spots will be roped off in the Swanson Center parking lot. Volunteers will be located in the Swanson Center lot to help guide you.
  • If you park near the library or Sewell Center, please use the Wetlands Foot Bridge to walk to the Swanson Center. 
• Please have your tickets available on your phone or in hard copy when you check-in. If you cannot find your ticket, we will have a list of attendees but this will slow down the process.
• Outside food and alcohol are strictly prohibited.
• Restrooms are available inside the Swanson Center.
• The concert will end by 7 PM, so you can make it home to watch the 7:30 PM televised kick-off of the UGA vs Kentucky football game.
