Partake with Scott 'N' Scooter at Hugh's Room, 296 Broadview Avenue
Doors at 7PM Performance at 8PM
$30 in advance, $35 at the door
Comedy veteran Janet Van De Graaff and singer/songwriter/producer Blair
Packham join forces to present “Partake With Scott 'n'Scooter,” a night of
music and comedy, with special guests.
The totally fictional duo (Blair is Scott, Janet is Scooter) will tell you all
about their musical hits and misses (mostly misses) over decades together
haplessly dreaming of the big time.
Originally from Chicago, Janet joined the Toronto cast of Second City in
1993, where she co-created and performed in five original shows. She
originated the role of Janet Van De Graaff in The Drowsy Chaperone (which
later enjoyed a long run on Broadway). On television she starred in Go Girl,
History Bites, Good Dog, and guested on Queer as Folk, The Royal
Canadian Air Farce, The Rick Mercer Report and The Baroness von Sketch
Show.
Toronto native Blair Packham was lead singer for 80s rock hitmakers The Jitters
(“Last of the Red Hot Fools”) and then launched a career producing and
composing music for TV and film (“Beyblade,” “Spliced!”, “Esmé & Roy,”
TSN’s “NHL Tonight,” and many more). Most recently, Blair engineered
“Ten Telecaster Tales,” a solo guitar recording for Rik Emmett.
Joining Scott ’N’ Scooter at Hugh’s Room Live on April 17 will be George
Westerholm as well as Peter Wildman and Tim Burns.
296 Broadview is not yet a fully wheelchair accessible venue, with stairs between all levels. Our goal is to fix that, and we need your support to do so - please consider making a donation towards our goals to make HRL the best listening room in Toronto!
