On December 2 2021 after a year of distanced collaboration with producer Justin Delorme, Paper Machetes will be releasing a new EP, “Balancing Act.” It will feature an earthy, modern vintage sound that explores themes of existentialism and hope in the face of it. With influences like Lana Del Rey, Sharon Van Etten and Father John Misty, it will show a warmer side to their sound while maintaining their fascination with paradoxical themes by asking the question - How can we ponder the big picture of existence, without losing focus on the little miracles of day-to-day?
