Dharma Temple in collaboration with The Beaumont studios is hosting an Outdoor Summer Yoga + Meditation Series.

This series will offer daily noon classes as a grounding centre to every weekday. Come together in community to transform The Beaumont’s lovely shaded courtyard into a temporary Temple of mindfulness, breath, yoga asana (postures), rhythmic movement, and meditation. Join us for simple daily practices to honour our bodies, minds + Spirit, the traditions of yoga, heart, health, and harmony on the unceded land of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

 

YOGA + MEDITATION | all practices are rooted in the vast traditions of yoga + shared with reverence to provide safe and mindful classes for all levels.

MONDAY - YOGA + MEDITATION with Teresa Campbell (she/they) |

BIO/ Teresa an Italian-Scottish queer person 

Teresa is a Celebrant, Bodyworker, Grief Guide, full-spectrum doula and teacher trainer who loves supporting folks in reclamation and thresholds. Teresa offers trauma-informed, reverent practices of embodiment and meditation for resiliency and joy.

 

TUESDAY - YOGA + MEDITATION with Reno Muenz he/him

BIO / Rehabilitation from sports injury led Reno to Yoga over 20 years ago. As a scholar, lover of books, music + art, and basketball, Reno offers wise and relatable teachings to Spiritual seekers. His path of sobriety, fatherhood alongside deep and diverse spiritual practices inform his teaching with embodied knowledge, good tunes and humor. Varied postures and breath are key components in this devotional offering of Hatha Raj Yoga.

 

WEDNESDAY - YOGA + MEDITATION with Ishta Devi she/her

BIO / Ishta is a trauma Informed life coach + counsellor, breath + meditation guide + tantra practitioner. Her Indigenous roots call her to engage in the healing work needed at this time. She inspires through her art, her course "Trauma Cleanse" and offers a strong and embodied yoga practice for folks to reclaim their innate strength and creativity.

 

THURSDAY - YOGA + MEDITATION with Christine Wu she/her

BIO / Christine's classes give full permission to be nurtured with a body-based practice and invite more awareness and connection with your mind and spirit. Through meditative breathing and gentle flows, Christine invites you to move with intention, inner strength and fluidity. Choice-based practice offers agency over your body and thoughts on the mat, so that you can become more present in your day-to-day living.

 

FRIDAY - YOGA + MEDITATION with SJ she/they

BIO - SJ's is dedicated to a life of healing + helping others through her devotional, creative classes. Encouraging autonomy + each individual to attune to their inner teacher, she intuitively weaves sound, music + breathwork with her personal experience of somatic movement, yoga + meditation to provide trauma-informed embodiment practices sharing simple tools for mental, emotional, physical + spiritual wellbeing.
