About Michelle Zauner:
As Japanese Breakfast’s singer and guitarist, she creates dreamy, shoegaze-
inspired indie pop and has won acclaim from major music outlets around the
world for releases like Psychopomp (2016) and Soft Sounds from Another
Planet (2017). Her most recent album, Jubilee (2021), earned two GRAMMY
nominations for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Music Album. Her first
book, Crying in H Mart, an unflinching, powerful memoir about growing up
Korean-American, losing her mother, and forging her own identity, is a New
York Times Best Seller. She’s currently adapting the memoir for the screen for
MGM’s Orion Pictures.
Effective March 14th, 2022, Stuart's Opera House will no longer require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test for entry to public events, and masks will become optional for all patrons, staff, and volunteers.
While this is a change to our venue policy, individual artists and event organizers will determine their own health and safety protocols and may opt to still require masks and/or proof of vaccination for their events. Stuart's will honor the preferences of the artists/presenting organizations and require health screenings and/or mask mandates as requested.
