CU3B4

The “CU” from CU3B4 is an homage to Carleton University, where the band members met and began performing together in 2018, while studying in the Bachelor of Music program. Additionally, the name resembles the phrase “See you three before,” representative of the artists’ active roles in Ottawa’s music scene. CU3B4 shares their passion for jazz, fusion, Latin and upbeat funk across the Ottawa area, attracting audiences of all ages with their modern approach to jazz classics, as well as their original compositions and jazz-inspired covers of popular hits. In 2019, CU3B4 performed at Ottawa Chamberfest after winning the festival’s Chamber Pints Challenge. In addition, the trio has been featured at Runway for HOPE, and has headlined various shows at local venues such as Bar Robo, Rainbow Bistro, and House of TARG.
