Many Scream-inspired slasher movies have come and gone over the last 25+ years, but when Scream meets The Eyes of Laura Mars, the result is the incredibly clever, witty, and devilishly fun horror comedy Departing Seniors. 

While a masked killer stalks the halls of his high school, Javier finds himself (due to a nasty fall) with an unexpected new ability: the power to see through the eyes of anyone he touches. But with great power comes great responsibility, so Javier and his best friend/sidekick Bianca decide to try and catch the killer themselves.

Armed with a subversively clever and funny script from screenwriter Jose Nateras and endearing performances from leads Ignacio Diaz Silverio and Ireon Roach, Departing Seniors is one of 2023’s most unexpectedly pleasant surprises.
