NUM — Seas Coming for Me (Album Release Concert)

Join us for a special evening at cSPACE Theatre Studio to celebrate the release of NUM’s new album Seas Coming for Me with a live audiovisual performance.

 

The record is the result of a deep collaboration between Calgary-based duo NUM (Milad Bagheri & Maryam Sirvan) and acclaimed woodwind artist Dr. Jeremy Brown. Recorded at the National Music Centre using its iconic collection of vintage electronic instruments, the album blends voice, electronics, and woodwinds into a series of immersive sonic dreamscapes. Physical copies will be available for purchase at the event.

 

                      

 

The performance will feature live visuals by artists Laura Anzola and Matthew Waddell.  

We’re honoured to share the evening with New Works Calgary, presenting a collaborative opening set by two of Calgary’s most respected composers and performers — Rebecca Bruton and Chris Dadge.
