DirectHer X YWCA Edmonton present: Board Camp

DirectHer is partnering with YWCA Edmonton to offer Board Camp 1! 

What to expect: This virtual workshop will run from 9 AM - 5 PM on November 6, 2021 (with breaks throughout).  Our goal is for you to leave this workshop feeling ready to apply for that first or second board position! Sessions covered will include:

• Board Basics

• Financial Literacy

• How to be a Strategic Director

• How to Build an Impactful Board Resume

Who should attend? This event is for those who are new/newer to governance, or looking for a refresh on foundational concepts. The sessions in this workshop will be focused on not for profit board governance. We welcome those who want to attend one, two, three or all of the sessions.  

Tickets for this one-day workshop are available on a "pay what you can" basis, with a suggested minimum donation of $40 (or $10/session). If cost is a barrier, please contact info@directhernetwork.com to inquire into our Scholarship program (we do not want cost to be a barrier to your access to the governance space!). Please note - ticket sales are final. At this time, a recording of the workshop will not be available.
