After a sold-out cross-Canada tour in 2025, Not a Wicked Drag Show is back, but this time, for good. Join three of Vancouver’s top drag superstars, Addi Pose, Genesis, and Weebee at the historic Hollywood Theatre as they take you on a magical trip through Oz (this time even gayer than the Cynthia x Ariana press tour). You’ll hear the songs you already know and love from the musical and the movie, now reimagined through the eyes of three unhinged drag performers who might not even agree on the plot. With new numbers, fresh jokes, and a level of chaos we probably shouldn’t advertise, this is Oz the way it should have always been.
Weebee Bio
Weebee is a Vancouver-based drag performer whose persona was born during the global pandemic in 2020. Drawing on a background in theatre, dance, and education, Weebee quickly developed a dynamic performance style that blends storytelling, comedy, and musical theatre. In 2021, Weebee won the nationally broadcast television competition Call Me Mother, launching a career hosting and touring shows across BC and Canada. Notable projects include the monthly Broadway Babes, Dringo, and the touring production Not a Wicked Drag Show (2024). Passionate about community engagement, Weebee also teaches youth drag through summer camps and school visits, fostering creativity and self-expression in young performers.
Genesis Bio
Genesis is the nonbinary triple threat of Vancouver drag. Genesis combines their background as a musical theatre performer and professional makeup artist to create incredible looks and jaw-dropping performances in shows all across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. In 2023, they became the first drag king to win Vancouver’s Next Drag Superstar. They are a beloved host and producer, co-creating shows such as Broadway Babes and Sunset Strip. As a chronically ill and disabled artist, Genesis is passionate about providing community for diverse drag artists. They have launched drag performance training programs at multiple Vancouver studios, where they share their skills and mentor the next generation of drag artists in the city.
Addi Pose Bio
Addi Pose is a force in the Vancouver drag scene and a proud trans woman. Born and raised in Calgary, her competitive figure skating background set her up to be a skilled, versatile entertainer like no other! Addi Pose merges classic cabaret themes with modern style and references. She is an original member of the House of Lola, a finalist in Vancouver's Next Drag Superstar (2025), and a full-time entertainer and hostess. From comedic live vocals to acrobatic stunts, Addi's approach to performance is based on a desire to provide representation for trans people in entertainment and foster community through the art of drag.
