Matt was a founding member of the influential Hardcore Metal band Means that disbanded in 2008. Northcote first appeared in 2009 with the album ‘Borrowed Chords, Tired Eyes’. Matt has been a staple on the Singer Songwriter circuit ever since blending the worlds of Americana Folk, Indie Rock, Post Hardcore and Devotional Music.

Matt is joined by longtime friends and collaborators Stephen Mcgillivray (Guitar), Mike Battle (Drums) and Eric Paone (Bass).

Other members of Northcote over the years include; Derek Heathfield (Drums), John Gerrard (Bass), Ila Wenaus (Horns), JJ Heath (Drums), Marek Tyler (Drums), Tyler Schwindt (Guitar), Blake Enemark (Guitar) and many more.
