North by Northwest follows Roger Thornhill, a smooth-talking New York advertising executive who is mistaken for a government agent by a group of foreign spies. After being kidnapped, framed for murder, and relentlessly pursued, Thornhill races across the country trying to clear his name and uncover why he’s been targeted.

Along the way, he encounters Eve Kendall, a mysterious woman whose loyalties are unclear and whose connection to the espionage plot deepens the intrigue. The chase leads through iconic settings—from a tense auction house escape to the famous crop-duster attack—culminating at Mount Rushmore, where Thornhill must expose the real spy and survive long enough to resolve the conspiracy.
