Description

Chevy Beaulieu and Chelsie Young take the stage for the National Music Centre’s CIBC Summer Series at the legendary King Eddy on August 13.

About Chevy Beaulieu:

Chevy Beaulieu is a singer/songwriter from Steen River, Alberta, currently based in Airdrie, Alberta. His music reflects his small-town roots and captures the essence of living, loving, and heartbreak. With six radio singles, three IMC #1s, and a 2022 CMAB Fans Choice Nomination, Chevy’s authentic approach to country music has earned him acclaim and admiration from fans and critics alike.

About Chelsie Young:

Tomboy Country. That is the best way to describe Chelsie Young's sound. Bringing a different and original twist to Alberta Country music with her brazen and fiery vocals, Chelsie is steadily advancing towards an exciting and successful career in Country music with her rough and tumble persona. With her band, Kootenay & Co she is poised to make significant breakthroughs in the Canadian Country music scene.

Raised on the Bigstone Cree Nation, Chelsie now calls Edmonton, AB home. Her early childhood was filled with music where she began to sing at the age of 8 and began playing the guitar at age 11.

Life is a journey not a destination. After going through many life-changing experiences Chelsie is here to say she is not your girly-girl Country artist. She is real, confident, and takes life by the horns which reminds us that we all get bucked off every now and then. Its up to you to dust yourself off and get back in the saddle and go another round until you come out on top.
