This summer, find peace, connection, and meaning at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden. More than a beautiful space, it’s a living symbol of friendship between Japan and Canada; rooted in resilience, shaped by Southern Alberta’s history, and designed to inspire reflection. Step into our gates and experience an oasis where stories of perseverance and cultural harmony unfold in every stone, tree, and breeze.

FRIENDSHIP EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK

Join us for special programming in the garden each day! Learn more about Japanese culture and history and then take a quiet moment to relax during your visit as you listen to the sounds of the garden.

DAILY NODATE (OUTDOOR TEA)

The Japanese tea ceremony, or chanoyu Iis considered a form of moving meditation. Join our staff out in the Garden for our daily scheduled Nodate.

A time to sit down, enjoy some matcha green tea and engage with our knowledgebale staff.

DAILY PUBLIC TOURS

PAVILION PROGRAMMING
