NIAGARA NORTHSHORE SPRING SHOWCASE - A musical showcase connecting music makers from Niagara to the north shore.

Rita Visser and her friend Thunderclap! have been carving a musical path, collecting music makers from Niagara to the north shore over the past few years. Raising the vibration through song is the destination. This will be one beautiful night of song at Steve’s Encore …

Rita will share her Canadiana rooted songs, weaving together stories of growing up on a rustic fishing island on Lake Superior. She may even tell the tale of her grandfather riding a moose? Her ‘straight to the heart’ songs from her latest album, Northern Daydream, were made for the North - especially her song, 'Batchawana Bay'. Get ready to join her around a figurative campfire, and dream away with her in melody.

The night gets even better, Niagara Falls performance artist THUNDERCLAP! (A mix of David Bowie, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis & Andy Kaufman) uses honesty and humility to develop an almost magical rapport with “every” audience he performs for. He has performed successfully all-over North America & Western Europe. A live THUNDERCLAP! show harkens back to the traditional arch of storytelling.

Special guests will also include the soul filled sounds and stomps from Niagara’s young budding Zach Bury. Most likely he will get the room to sing along to his newly released tune “I want to be your Friend’.

And, we may even have a surprise guest or two from Wawa or North Bay?
