Description

Originally from Israel, a hotbed of international contemporary dance, choreographer Idan Cohen formed his company Ne. Sans to re-imagine and reconnect contemporary dance and opera; he has electrified audiences with his meticulously crafted choreography, vivid theatrical images and intense musicality.

Accompanied by pianist/conductor Leslie Dala, this intimate program features the countertenor Shane Hanson and company dancers in excerpts of recent works to music by Handel, Bach, and Philip Glass.

Presented as part of The Dance Centre's Discover Dance! series.
