Showmance is a two-piece noise pop outfit from Vancouver.

 

Featuring frontwoman Natalie Catherine and multi-instrumentalist Jonty Davies, Showmance superimpose spoken word lyricism onto an eclectic canvas of electronic rock. Equal parts pop and dirty garage rock with surf punk and electroclash, Showmance invokes influences like Sleigh Bells, Sylvan Esso, Animal Collective and Cocorosie. Showmance’s self-recorded debut EP “French Hours” at times pairs bubblegum pop with lyrics about West African warlords and sharing needles. Like a magic eye poster of a pop band - the closer you look, the weirder it gets ⚡️

Good News Music is a power duo based out of the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. Members include @desmond_day on vocals/ guitars and Robin Banks on drums.
