Description

Piano faculty Dr. Shoko Kinsella will explore the wonders of love and death through exquisite piano music by Frédéric Chopin and Joe Hisaishi.  The program will include a melancholic Nocturne and the dramatic "Funeral March" Sonata by Chopin, as well as beautiful selections from Joe Hisaishi's piano solos written for Studio Ghibli animation films, TV commercials, and a movie by Japanese filmmaker Takeshi Kitano.
