Music: Mauro Martins, Euphonium

Born in Switzerland in 1995, Mauro Martins is a Portuguese musician who took his first steps in music at the age of 10 in a Philharmonic Band. Later, between 2010 and 2016, he attended the Professional School of Arts in Covilhã, where he studied with the professors Nuno Machado, Ricardo Antão, Luís Oliveira, among others. He graduated with distinction in the Basic Instrument Course and the Wind and Percussion Instrumentalist Course, obtaining the highest grade in both final recitals. He continued his studies and entered the School of Music and Performing Arts in Porto, under the guidance of professors Sérgio Carolino and Ricardo Antão, once again achieving the highest grade in the final bachelor's recital.

Nacido en Suiza en 1995, Mauro Martins es un músico portugués que dio sus primeros pasos en la música a los 10 años en una Banda Filarmónica. Más tarde, entre 2010 y 2016, asistió a la Escuela Profesional de Artes en Covilhã, donde estudió con los profesores Nuno Machado, Ricardo Antão, Luís Oliveira, entre otros. Se graduó con distinción en el Curso Básico de Instrumentos y en el Curso de Instrumentos de Viento y Percusión, obteniendo la más alta calificación en ambos recitales finales. Continuó sus estudios y entró en la Escuela de Música y Artes Escénicas de Oporto, bajo la guía de los profesores Sérgio Carolino y Ricardo Antão, logrando nuevamente la más alta calificación en el recital final de licenciatura.
