Music: Alexandra Sjobeck, Jazz Guest Recital

Join us for a Jazz concert by guest artist Alexandra Sjobeck Monday March 10th!

Sjobeck has performed at esteemed music festivals, jazz society concerts, and jazz clubs including Dazzle (Denver, CO), Smalls Jazz Club (New York City, NY), The Velvet Note (Atlanta, GA), The 1905 (Portland, OR), The Royal Room (Seattle, WA), the Gene Harris Jazz Festival, the UNC•Greeley Jazz Festival, and the Commencement Bay Jazz Festival. Sjobeck is also currently on faculty at Boise State University. She began her professional career while attending the Manhattan School of Music on scholarship and studying under some of the world’s finest jazz pianists. After graduating, she began teaching at the famed jazz program at the University of Northern Colorado as a teaching assistant while attaining her master’s degree.

Únase a nosotros para un concierto de jazz de la artista invitada Alexandra Sjobeck el lunes 10 de marzo!

Sjobeck ha actuado en prestigiosos festivales de música, conciertos de la sociedad de jazz y clubes de jazz como Dazzle (Denver, CO), Smalls Jazz Club (Nueva York, NY), The Velvet Note (Atlanta, GA), The 1905 (Portland, OR), The Royal Room (Seattle, WA), el Festival de Jazz Gene Harris, el Festival de Jazz UNC-Greeley y el Festival de Jazz de Commencement Bay. Sjobeck también es actualmente profesor en la Universidad Estatal de Boise. Comenzó su carrera profesional mientras asistía a la Escuela de Música de Manhattan con una beca y estudiaba con algunos de los mejores pianistas de jazz del mundo. Después de graduarse, comenzó a enseñar en el famoso programa de jazz de la Universidad del Norte de Colorado como asistente de enseñanza mientras obtenía su maestría.
