A Benefit for Music Heals in Concert With Govan Brown(POSTPONED))

Music Heals is a charitable foundation that provides funding to accredited Music Therapists and programs. This support increases access to music therapy for children’s hospitals, senior’s homes, palliative care, Alzheimer’s, Autism, at-risk youth, and bereavement support. Music Heals has raised over two million dollars in Vancouver in the past 5 years primarily though an annual Rock N’ Roll Gala called Strike a Chord.

Music Heals has identified a need for support in Alberta and is taking it’s first step to support music therapists in the province by launching A Benefit for Music Heals in Concert with Govan Brown. While the lineup will remain a secret until show time, past Strike a Chord editions have featured the likes of Arrested Development, Serena Ryder and The Sheepdogs.

In addition to a great line-up of live bands the event will share impact stories and provide opportunities to contribute via silent auctions and raffles.
