Music: Guest Artists - Daveda Karanas, mezzo soprano & Michael Ippolito, piano

This guest artist recital, featuring Daveda Brechen and Michael Ippolito, will explore the vastness and unpredictability of the sea, intertwined with the comfort of lullabies at home. The program features works by Ethel Smyth and Benhamin Britten, a French set based on the "Berceaux" theme (including songs by Regine Poldowski, Henri Duparc, Gabriel Fauré, and Vincent D'Indy), and the premier of Michael Ippolito's newest song cycle for mezzo-soprano and piano.
