Malik Elassal is a Lebanese-Canadian actor, writer, and comedian from north east Calgary. In the past few years, Malik won Top Comic in his home city of Calgary, recorded sets for television at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and CBC's New Wave of Standup, and performed the titular track of the Just For Laughs originals album ‘Yeehaw Hell Yeah’.   

In 2022, he was named one of the New Faces at Just For Laughs in Montreal and returned to the festival in 2023 as part of prestigious "Just For The Culture" Show where he was a stand out. 

 

Noor Kidwai

As Seen on CBC and heard on Sirius XM Satellite Radio Comedian Noor Kidwai grew up in the small farming town of High River, Alberta, which was the first place he began doing comedy.

Noor has sharp writing, combined with a background in Improv which makes him quick on his feet.

He now lives in Toronto and tours all over Canada and the UK. He’s performed at Just For Laughs 42, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The Seattle International Comedy Competition, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
