Description

The award winning show returns for one night only! A sellout hit at the 2023 Saskatoon and Edmonton Fringe Festivals, Breaking Bard is a mad smash of improv and Shakespeare, as a cast of hilarious and heartbreaking performers create a completely original epic tragedy right before your very eyes! Murder, betrayal, plots and bloody revenge take the scene beside top notch comedy, iambic poetry and incredibly stupid puns. It's Shakespeare as you've never seen it before, inspired by your suggestions, perfectly fit for novices and Bard scholars alike! (Audience participation is not required, so come on out and enjoy the show!)

"...a delightful celebration of what improv — and Shakespeare — can be." 5/5 Stars - Saskatoon Star Phoenix

This show will be presented in the Salazar Stage (Main floor).
