MOONBEAN:

MOONBEAN is a Toronto based psychedelic electroclash duo who lace their live, synth hardware set with lush vocals. Their music explores acid-house, synth-pop, techno, disco, and their live performance gives off punk energy. Speaking to self-expression and community their lyrics weave mantras to empower their audience. Although they're electronic, they play an all-live hardware set leaving room for improvisation, experimentation and audience engagement. Musical inspo; Peaches, Nine Inch Nails, Aphex Twin.

Actor Director:

Actor Director is a song-writing, producing and performance duo operating in the confluence of electronic, pop, indie rock, and hip-hop. An ever-expanding core of genre-fluidity centres on lush cinematic synths, powerful evocative vocals, intricate basslines, and arresting rhythms and syncopation. Actor Director is well equipped as a powerhouse of entertainment. With a knack for creating engaging moments, the duo share vocal duties and seamlessly move between instruments and roles. Catchy pop melodies belie dark undertones and universal lyrical themes, an exploration of existential fears and feeling untethered in an increasingly uneasy world. Sonically, the result is monolithic in sound and dense with meaning, merging the sensibilities of traditional songwriting with the unpredictable entropy and unrestrained experimentation afforded by the limitless possibilities inherent in modern electronic production.

Ghost Twin:

Ghost Twin is a dark synthpop group from Winnipeg, Canada that combine roaring synths, dirty pulsing bass, dreamy guitar, and haunting vocals. Their audio/visual performance imbued with occult aesthetics creates a full sensory evocative narrative of shadowy haunted rooms occupied by astral phantasms and electronic voices from beyond the aether.
